Training Workshop on Quality Education – Mardan 08-09-2020
Mardan (12.08.2020) — National Association for Sustainable Development of Pakistan (NASDPakistan) Mardan Chapter has today successfully conducted the Workshop on Quality Education with title ‘Benefits of Reading Habits & Learning Skills’ at al-Islah Centre Orphanage, Mardan under the banner of campaign EDvantagePakistan inspired by the SDGs No. 04 i.e. Quality Education. The Team of NASDPakistan gave the workshop on Quality Education through Slides and presentations and conducted the study circle comprising of the story books. The strength of 40 orphan children joined the event.
Speaking on the occasion, via video link, the President of the Association Farhan Azhar gave his keynote message and stressed the importance of Quality Education. He said that Education is prerequisite for our progress and without advancing in it we can not excel as a nation. He added that the Orphans are the assets of the nation and if they are given due attention, they can proved to be the valuable citizens.
The Training Workshop was concluded with distribution of the story books, writing books, color material and eating bags for the children.

Tree Plantation Mardan 12-08-2020
Mardan (12.08.2020) — National Association for Sustainable Development of Pakistan (NASDPakistan) Mardan Chapter has today successfully conducted the Tree Planation Drive at Shiekh Maltoon Town Park Mardan under the banner of campaign reforestPakistan inspired by the SDGs No. 13 and 15 i.e. Climate Action and Life on Land. The City Chapter on through its members & office bearers, has initially planted 100 Pine Trees Association’s City Administrator Laiba Atiq, Members Ibad Sohail, Anum Ali, Maham, Nilofer and others.
The Event was planned and executed merely by the female members of the Association which was partaken by children as well. This is the best example that the Association has given in regards to the Women Empowerment which happens to be the Associations main agenda.
The Event was specially covered by the Team of National Public Radio of America headed by their country Correspondent. Speaking on the occasion, NASDPakistan’s city administrator Laiba Atiq said that we aspire to see SDGs taking roots in Pakistan and NASDPakistan is untiringly undergoing the efforts to boost Climate Action, Zero Poverty and Hunger and Quality Education.

Tree Plantation Islamabad 08-08-2020
Islamabad (08.08.2020): — National Association for Sustainable Development of Pakistan (NASDPakistan) has today successfully conducted the Tree Planation Drive in Shalimar Cricket Ground, Main Margalla Road, Sector F-6/3 Islamabad under the banner of campaign reforestPakistan inspired by the SDGs No. 13 and 15 i.e. Climate Action and Life on Land. The Association through its members & office bearers, has initially planted 100 Pine Trees on the green belt of the said locality and aspires to continue the same in near future. Association’s Chairperson Miss Kiran Kiyani, President Farhan Azhar, Vice President Muhammad Sharjeel, Director Central SDGs Unit Ahsan Murtaza Malik & Director Public Relations Malik Nouman Yaqoob joined the event.
The Chairperson of the Association, Miss Kiran Kiyani reiterated her firm resolve to keep working on the SDGs in Pakistan so that the life of a common man can be changed in educational and social spheres.
The Association shall be conducting the same initiative of Tree Plantation in Faisalabad and Mardan in the dates to come..

NASDPakistan Tree Plantation Drive
Islamabad: The Board of Directors of the NASDPakistan has taken a principle decision to initiate the Tree Plantation Drive with initial target of 500 trees in Islamabad, Faisalabad and Mardan through it members.
This policy statement has been extended through th e Chairperson’s Office where it is stated that the Drive shall be in relativity to the Government of Pakistan’s Moonsoon Plantation Initiative and shall be synchronised with the SDG No. 13, 15 and 17.
